Tarragon and Lemon Baked Fish


  • 4 fish filets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine




  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F
  2. Season the fish filets with salt and pepper
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, chopped tarragon, minced garlic, and white wine
  4. Place the fish filets in a baking dish and pour the olive oil mixture over them
  5. Arrange the lemon slices on top of the fish filets
  6. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork
  7. Serve the tarragon and lemon baked fish hot, garnished with additional chopped tarragon if desired
