Slow Cooker Garlic Herb Butter Turkey Breast


  • 5 lb turkey breast (with skin)
  • 150g salted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme (finely chopped)
  • 2 sprigs fresh sage (finely chopped)
  • 3 sprigs fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil

Garlic Butter Gravy

  • 1.5L chicken stock
  • 50g all-purpose flour
  • 30g unsalted butter


  1. Mix all finely chopped herbs and garlic with butter
  2. Pat turkey breast dry
  3. Remove the skin carefully using a knife
  4. Spread garlic butter all over the surface of the breast
  5. Put turkey breast in slow cooker for 4 hours at 145°F
  6. Spray the skin with olive oil , then season it with salt and pepper
  7. Spread the skin out on a parchment paper
  8. Bake in the oven at 350°F until golden brown
  9. Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan and add flour
  10. Stir constantly until golden brown
  11. Add chicken stock and whisk constantly
  12. Bring to a boil, simmer and cook until thickened
  13. Pour the gravy on the sliced turkey and break the skin into bite sized pieces
  14. Serve and enjoy
