The Love Prescription Project: Growgreen aspara® Smart Grower Partners with HKCCCU Kwong Yum Care Home

In today’s society, bridging the generation gap is key to building harmonious communities. Growgreen is honored to collaborate with HKCCCU Kwong Yum Care Home on the “The Love Prescription” project, supported by the HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme. Together, we use the aspara® Smart Grower to facilitate meaningful interactions between seniors and youth through gardening activities.

Launched in September 2024, the “The Love Prescription” project invites youth reporters and elders to reflect on the meaning of life and share untold personal stories through smart technology planting and creative arts. Growgreen’s aspara® Smart Grower plays a vital role, enabling participants to bond emotionally and enhance well-being through planting and nurturing plants together.

With the smart grower, seniors rediscover the joy and sense of accomplishment in gardening while feeling renewed vitality and hope through engagement with youth. Meanwhile, young participants gain deeper understanding and respect for elders’ experiences and wisdom, fostering intergenerational harmony.
